KOOL! lizard buddy! (sorry no awnser on the actual question...that lizard is cool!)
Proud owner of an Elegance Coral "that lived". (It is thriving whith long tentacle tips...purchased in January 2005.) It has white tentacle tips, I beleive this has something to do with ones that will typically live due to the collection site.

I don't have pics but I can tell you how to do it. Get some sheet acrylic (1/4" thick). Then get some solid acrylic rod (could be hollow) about 1/2" diamter. You can use extruded acrylic for this and it's cheap. 5 feet is about $5. Then just cut the sheet to the size you need to hold up the rock, then cut the rod to the height you want the rock held. Put the rod on the sheet, add a little of your favorite weld on solvent and your done. Basically you are just making little acrylic tables to support your live rock. I sometimes use a 1/2" forstner bit and drill about 1/8" into the sheet and then add the rod to that and weld. It's a perfect fit

I've got 3 old towers from wet try filters I'm going to be using. I've cut out the side walls & they work as nice tables/platforms. On one I'm going to keep parts of the side walls & glue a lower shelf onto it supported by either rods or traingle wedges.

What's nice about these is that they're extra sturdy & I can probably entend some nice long shelves & overhangs if I like.

Hi Nick, there are various heights[3 main reefracks], that I used. The smaller [2nd pix] ones allow flexibility around the main reefracks. LR can be placed on around the lower larger platform with corals such that it is not noticeable Bob
