  • Anyone with experience or would you chance it?

I've been looking around for wrought iron b'flies, but the price tag may be too much to stomach, so on a more realistic bend I've been scoping the b'flies from the tinkeri complex (burgess, mitratus, declevis and of course tinkers). These supposedly don't take out corals, being planktonivores. Any experience? I do plan on clams in my tank ultimately.....maybe some other coral type things as well....

They have a limited distribution. Apparently not rare at all in that distribution, but limited. I am hoping now that we are seeing wild interruptus angels that we will also see wrought irons come in (same distribution). Yeah, it could be on par with conspics and the like whereas tinkeris et al are much, much cheaper.
