Basically I removed my 15" DSB so I need some rubble to fill in the gaps and add a rocky bottom to my cave and don't want to have to go through a 4 month rock cooking process but I'm not sure which rocks to order

Thanks guys I'll give Scott a PM

Yep thats a question for Scott, haha.

all i can tell you is that if you dont atleast throw the rock in your sump for a good 2 months you WILL have a diatom bloom.

mine got over about 1 month ago so it took 2 months to go away.

when the over sized strainer covers come in in the next month or 2. i am going to do the following steps.

          1. soak in RODI water for 2 weeks, switching out the water every couple days.

          2. throw them in my sump for a good 1-2 months.

          3. only put 2 in the main tank at a time. i got 5 total i think .

i think that will help and i dont think i will have a diatom bloom doing it this way.

If I get more I will do as Nick suggests as well. I soaked mine for a week changing the water about 4x's and I'm seeing a bloom as well.
