  • Help with Growth

I am getting a little frustrated with my lack of growth on my SPS. I am on my third Zeo rock change out and my growth is zero to none. The only other thing added to my tank besides the zeo essentials is AA. All my water chemistry is perfect.

What else can I do to help increase growth?

I am seriously considering dumping my ROIII pendants w. Pheonix 14k bulbs and going to SE XM10K with VHO.

    Any thoughts?

Jim, I personally have seen my friends tank with the phoenix 14k and RO3 pendents and was UN impressed with the amt of light they put out.. My 400 watt 20k xm off m59 put out SO much more light and par its silly.. I think you are running 250 also correct? Look into the reeflux 10k though if you are leaning towards 10k.. It seem to be the new flavor of the month in bulbs.. I would CERYTAINLY look into Coral Vitalizer as well... I think that would def give your corals a boost..

    Peace, Jeff

Hi Jim, in addition to Jeff's recommendations, you might add a another PH/Tunze to increase in-tank current---you will also see improved color Bob

        Thanks Jeff.....

Bob I hope you are joking regarding the flow. In the 180 I have two 6100's, a wave box, and a Sequence Hammerhead (3,600 gph) on a closed loop. If I add anymore flow the seams are going to bust! lol
