i am ordering mine this week,i called the dealer,the camera extention isnot out yet,but i have seen many pictures taken through mesos online already,even a short 3 sec polyp movement video,so how does that work?
any info appriciated i can't wait to get mine ,by the way the 25% off is still on,

Tell you what Bob, I will do a complete write up of my mesoscope photography techniques and "secrets". I am glad to see that my pictures are getting around and that people are starting to get their mesoscopes. Before you get hung up on using the mesoscope to take pictures, dont forget that many real-time oservations can be made with the mesoscope including polyp behaviour, daily growth rates, feeding responses and particle capture as well as parasites and species level ID characteristics.
If you do plan on taking pictures be sure to get a nice tripod. I'll post a link when I do my write up on mesoscope photography techniques.

Since Jake is going to be nice enough to post a guide I will defer to him. But what Jake says about real time observation is what I enjoy most about my scope. It's a blast to watch a gorgonian capturing prey, and then taking it in to be digested. Watch a filter feeding acro crab filter food out of the water. Zoom in on the advanced eyes of a mantis, etc........

There is so much going on in our aquariums that we have not been able to observe. The Mesoscope truly opens up new worlds to the hobbyist.
