flow rate for zeovit

these zeovit reactors for 1 liter are sold with a quiet one 1200 (296gph) do you have to ball valve them or is the head pressure enough to knock them down to 100gph witch is recomended just curious because i have a quiet one 1200 and want to build a reactor thanks

My Grotec came with an Eheim. I've since swapped that out for a Maxi-Jet powerhead.
I'm using 2L or media and have measured the flow at near 190gph.

The quite ones have a flow controller on them if I am not mistaken.. I am not sure of the flow with it set to the lowest though.. I am sure the head pressure will also knock it down some...
