  • tank in garage

do you guys think its a good idea to put a whole system in the garage? the only dissadvantage i can think of is heating/cooling and viewing the tank. what do you think?

As long as you can convince your wife/girlfriend that parking the car outdoors is better for the car...

do you have your washer/dryer in the garage ? do you keep paint thiner/cleaning solutions in your garage ? anything that could contaminate your air, would be bad IMO,

ive seen a pimped out system in the garage ,the guy sectioned off half his garage with drywall built a door going into the fish room complete with burning insence ,candles ,and lounge chairs ,...The guy also hated his wife so he spent 95% of his time in the garage .Id say the real question is ,do you spend most of your time in the garage or the house???

          seareef,
i guess the question should be, "do you hate your wife?"

There are some people who have had great success with garage systems...

Shawn Bennetts tank was in his garage.

Carlos, XtremeAquatics, his tank is in the house, but all the filtration is in the garage.

When I moved from undergrad to law school, my tank ran for about 8 months in my parents garage.

you can definitely do it. make sure you have great circulation and a chiller.

if i did it, i would definitely need a chiller(and a lot of fans ). it can get over 100 out here. what size chiller do you guys think i would need? the whole system will probably be no more than 200 gallons. do you think 1/3 would be enough?
