ive seen a pimped out system in the garage ,the guy sectioned off half his garage with drywall built a door going into the fish room complete with burning insence ,candles ,and lounge chairs ,...The guy also hated his wife so he spent 95% of his time in the garage .Id say the real question is ,do you spend most of your time in the garage or the house???www.reeftecdesigns.com

There are some people who have had great success with garage systems...
Shawn Bennetts tank was in his garage.
Carlos, XtremeAquatics, his tank is in the house, but all the filtration is in the garage.
When I moved from undergrad to law school, my tank ran for about 8 months in my parents garage.
