Hi Jay, sorry for the delay. With ZEOvit, we do not use KW, just top off with RODI water. Your parameters are all fine except you must keep the KH <8 when your nutrients become depleted. Be sure to know the ZEOvit guide well. For your system, I recommend the following:

1)dose 3/4 Cup of carbon in a filter sock, passively in your sump, kneaded 3x's/wk & exchanged monthly.
2)dose 3/4 ltr. zeolite in a filter with a flow rate of of 50-75 gph. Pump clean the stones 1-2 x's/day & cycle the zeo-filter on & off at 3 hr. intervals. Be sure the stones are under the water line when the filter is off. Exchange the stones in 4wks. then repost for adjustments to your zeo-dosages.
3)dose 3 drops Bak/Food daily for 2wks. then 3 drops each 2x's/wk. Dose these in front of the filter pump when the filter is "on". Turn off your skimmer for 60min after dosing these.
4)dose Start2 .1ml 2x's/day daily. Dose this also in front of the filter pump. It is not necessary to turn off your skimmer when just dosing Start2. Jay, ask any questions when you have them, Bob

Thank You Bob, Will do. One more question, it seems to be relatively hard to find a quality pump with the low flow rate that is needed through the reactor. Any suggestions, I was looking at maybe an Eheim 1046 @79 gal per hour. Please advise. Thanks, Jay

Hi Jay, the Eheim will be a good pump for your zeo-filter. The flow can vary a little from the above. Bob

              "4)dose Start2 .1ml 2x's/day daily."
              Am I getting this correct? .1ml 2x's/daily
or is it 1ml 2x's daily.
Reactor is finished, about to fire it up today.
              Thanks, Jay

I'm coming up on the four week mark on zeo, and would like to know what if any adjustments I need to make on my dosages beside changing out the zeoliths.
Also, at this point should I consider any of the other supplements.
Parameters are in line with the guidelines. I have also noticed a marked decrease in nuisance algae.
                  Thanks, Jay

Hi Jay, with the 1st zeolite exchange, Bak/Food7 will only be dosed every other day for the 1st 2wks. then 2x's/wk. The cycle period for the zeolites also will now be 6wks. The above zeo-dosing quantities will remain the same for this cycle-period. If you wish, I'd recommend using AAHC[2-3 drops/day] & C-V [1-3 drops/25gnet/day], PIF & Fe at ZEOvit guidelines. Bob
