Aquarium Project at Indiana State University

Hello Gents' (and ladies)
I'm working on a pretty large aquarium project at Indiana State University is good ole' Terre Haute, Indiana. We've busted three holes in the wall of the science building here. framed them out all nice and neat and will be adding aquariums to two of the openings and a television to the middle one. One tank will be filled with deciduous freshwater organisms.. probably along the lines of a terrarium.. The other (cooler) one will be a reef tank. I am heading up The setup design and maintenance of the aquariums. We've set up a website documenting the process and will be updating it as often as possible. We've also included a need and want list.. you may disregard as i'm sure most of you will never see this tank in person..(unless of course you really want to help out :icon_mrgr ) I am also aware in advance that some of the prices are high.. the prices are that from a local fish store in our area, they're a bit high! nonetheless let me know what you guys think! thanks

Brion, just curious how much those sinks are. And do you get them from Home Depot? I think i need one now.

Wow that is one heck of a fish list. Brion, when the tank has been up and running for awhile I could possible give u a few sps frags.. I know that is DEF down the line but I would like to have a few of my pieces displayed in your tank.. Maybe I could even deliver them when I am coming over to Scotts at www.evolutionaquatics.com

I'd be sure those 2 x 6's planks on the top have plenty of screw in them to hold them flat. You'd be amazed at what they can do when/if the warp from the moisture.

If they set up a Paypal account I'd be willing to send a small donation. It needs to come out of the fish fund and not go through the CFO.

The sinks are cheap... not sure exactly on the cost.. i sent someone else with some grant monet to get one.. it a simple laundry sink you could probably get one for about $40 i believe they got this one from Menards

Yeah this fish list is huge.. as we get requests for certain fish or organisms the list will shorten as the husbandry changes so not all of those fish are going to be incorporated into this tank ..if it were up to me i'd have only coral in the tank.. And some coral frags for the tank would be awesome.. some of those colorful buggers of yours would be a welcome addition
