  • A replacement for the good old Chiller?

It will need an air blower to power it but I would imagine that the power consumption will be very small compared to a regular chiller?

Any guys here with experience with this thing? Do you think it can be done?

How would you use the tube in a marine environment?

I would think that we can pipe the cold air thru an exchanger of sorts which is immersed in the sump.

From a quick reading it appears that you need a compressor not a blower.

Looking at the descriptions they units require 7.5 to 16.5 CFM of air. Taking a quick look at Sears online - To get a compressor to produce that kind of volume looks like a 2hp compressor.

Also these units are not very large, so their ability to chill a large heat exchanger, might be an issue. A review of other items the company makes are for "spot" chilling - To quickly cool things like solder joints, and fine detail work.
