no change again today, increased dosage to 5ml now. No difference in appearance of corals in tank, but I did notice that the usual algae build up on my glass was less. Usually after 3 days the glass is noticeably "dirty", this time, after 3 days I would say its more of a light dusting on the glass

Is Nitrate at the same level? When I previously managed to reduce my levels they got stuck until Nitrate dropped below a certain level (I can't really remember what that level was but I do recall that Phosphate remained high until Nitrate dropped to very low levels).

didn't test nitrate but I will tomorrow if I get time.

I noticed after the first dose last night I had more skim in the skimmer this morning which to me suggests it binds the phosphate in the water column to get skimmed out.

Quick update: Po4 still at .09 and nitrate just under 10. Dosed 5ml per day for last 3 days.

Water looks clear and very little algae on glass so whilst the po4 reduction has not been dramatic, there have been some positive effects.

Similar experience for me. I'll be testing again in a bit.

Likewise better clarity on water but also a reduction in po4. Defo liking the product so far.

Still no drop on Phosphate but Nitrate still dropping and now almost at the 16:1 ratio, if that means anything in particular. I'm persisting and hoping that if Nitrate keeps dropping to low levels that the Phosphate will start to drop.

How's it going for everyone else?

Nitrate still the same but phosphate has dropped. I'm continuing to use biomate also. Ive noticed a improvement in water clarity also

What levels did you have and what have been the measured changes?

Still the same for me here, now dosing 6ml every other day as I certainly like the effects I'm seeing.

I fully suspect that my Po4 won't reduce any further unless my No3 comes down.(currently around 10) I suspect that this stuff mops up any excess Po4 outside of the normal no3 to po4 ratios, but for significant reductions, we are still relying on bacteria to do that for us, and if we don't have enough no3 reducing bacteria, then we can't expect po4 to reduce any further.

So in that regard, I've just invested in some Siporax so will see how that goes for the No3 reduction

Leeds you tried exxodus bac? Same as siporax but cheaper. I'm currently running this in mine.

I'm using Marine Pure, but I certainly noticed a rise in nutrient levels once the Zeovit stones got to seven weeks. I think I'm going to have to change it every five or six weeks at the most. Perhaps another block of Marine Pure in there.

Whether using Marine Pure, Siporax or something else, it's really no different to using more live rock and so it shouldn't really have any impact on the effectiveness of the Zeovit system.

Leeds - do you consider your tank to have quite a heavy bioload?

I don't use zeostones anymore.i seeded the exxodus bac for some time in the tank and stopped changing the stones then removed them altogether. Not had a problem up to now and I'm heavily stocked.

I did wonder about adding another block of Marine Pure.

I hadn't heard of Exxodus before. It looks like they have some interesting products. How long have you been using it?
