  • Green Carpet and Mated False Percs

I've got a pair of mated false percs that we recently lost their GBTA in a move. We bought them a green carpet anomone. They haven't gone to it yet. Is there a compatability issue here?

I tried searching, but RC keeps disabling the feature. Any help is welcomed. Thanks.

I don't think it is a compatability issue, but it may take some time for them to find it (and get comfortable with it). Try to put some food on the anenome and see if they come...

Andy, false percs are more picky. It is sometimes uncommon for a false perc to move into a BTA. Having true percs would of given you a better chance. May want to give it some time.

I babysat some false percs for a friend while he moved, they moved into a carpet lickety split. My false percs...at least that's what they seem to be though one is almost completely black, took forever to host in my Rose BTA. I think it was something like 18 months. Now they won't leave the thing .

I introduced a BTA and a mated pair of true percs at the same time and they would'nt look at it for close to 6 mo. Once they went in it was all over. They would'nt come out. Pretty cool to watch how they would take care of it. Any food that was too big for them they would stuff in the BTA's mouth. I'm pretty sure they will adopt it just give it time.
