A while back my marble linkia lost 3 arms over the course of a week. I thought I crushed them off in aquascaping but it appears he was intentionally reproducing. All three lived, one went to a friend's tank, and two are in my tank. Last week I saw one moving around, and I thought it got attacked by an asterina - or vice versa. Then the next day I saw them attached still and upon further investigation ...... it's growing it's new body. In 15+ years in this hobby this is probably the coolest thing I've observed!
