  • Zeovit in fish only tank???

    Hi
I've been using zeovit in my reef for a few months now with great success.
I'll be setting fish only 150gal tank. Stock will include mostly triggers. I have spare fluval 404 and I was wondering what should I use in it. Should I use zeovit or extra biological filtration with po4 remover? There is live rock in the tank and large (Aqua Medic turboflotor 5000 twin) skimmer.
If using zeovit stones, what other parts of this system should I use. Is zeofood essential?
    Thanks
    Marius

Nice aquascape!! For the FOWLR, I would only use start and the zeovit rocks.

eek, 150g with mostly triggers??? Nutrient soup and lots of potential for fish violence...unless you're talking the planktinovores and such...
      10x3x2 FOWLR (for now)
      BK400ext
RD12 return, 2 RD12 closed loop, wavebox with extension
      MRC kalkmixer
      IKS

I mean Hawaiian and Picasso triggers. They are now in my reef, but it's time to move them to separate tank. The picasso is now 3cm and hawaiian 12cm. I want to keep them with marine betta, yellow and purple tang. I hope this mix will work?

Hm, probably. Neither the Hawaiian or the Huma are particularly mean as triggers go IME.
