  • Reproduction of Torch(?)

I've had this torch for over a year now, and about a month ago it started to develop what I believe to be a "bud". I wasn't sure what it was at first, as it looked like some sort of tumor or growth (although hard to the touch). Now it clearly has its own polyp structure/tentacles, and it's hanging from the "mother" polyp by a single strand of flesh. I'm expecting it to be fully separated within a week.

Unfortunately, you can also see the triple head that unexpectedly died about 2 weeks ago.

I've never seen that before. My torch grows by splitting it's heads. Mine went from 7 heads to 12 heads in about 7~8 months!
