Boy I cannot believe that I wasn't inundated with "requests" to be allowed to come and visit scenic northern British Columbia and help me with my plumbing? Go figure - jaw dropping scenery - tons of wildlife and fishing - historic Alaska/Canada highway - secluded log house house with log guest cabin Any way I found a su.... um person who is a plumber and has plumbed large aquarium systems before. He is even going to drill my tank for me :icon_bigg
The only bad part is that I am going away on holidays next week for 2 weeks - I AM GOING TO ALASKA! so will not be able to leak test etc. until I get back. Then you guys better have your typing fingers warmed up cause I am going to have a ton of questions.

Man... if only my Huskies were in better shape. What a missed opportunity for sure. No doubt beats the heck out of SoCal 100 degree smog filled days fishing for carp in the West Nile Virus carrying mosquito infested local mud puddle.

Thanks for the link... gives me something to dream about as I sit and stare at the block wall behind my PC.

Thanks for fixing the link. I just can't seem to get the hang of some of this computor stuff.
And I'm glad you liked the pics. It is really beautiful up here and while I would love to visit tropical places at least once a winter I love it up here and wouldn't trade for anything. Hoping to be able to get away to Belize this winter. Never been there so if I can find a travelling partner will probably go in March.

I DID IT - Since Heinz wouldn't come and help me drill my tank I did it all by myself. 10 holes total for the closed loop and not one mistake. I can't believe it. I was just reading over my first post on this thread and that has changed already. My Bubble King 400 repeat 400 external is on the way! Got my Grotech calcium reactor - just waiting on the media and valves. The neighbor kid is coming over when he gets back from hunting tonight to get this baby inside and on the stand. Then I am sure I will have to make up some new curse words when I am doing the plumbing but at least PVC pipe is cheap and I won't glue anything until I am sure that all fits together properly
