With the recent cool front, I've opened the windows of my house again to get some fresh air and watched my tank pH jump from 7.89 yesterday morning to 8.12 this afternoon. This is well beyond my typical morning to afternoon swing and indicative that my house was holding a lot of CO2. I guess I'll have to have my family (and dog) start breathing less so I can maintain my tank at the proper pH!
