Used Zeo Rocks - Any uses??

I just changed the rocks after my first month. I plan on using some of the bigger pieces for frags . I would like to use the others in a filter bag and place them in my frag tank just for some added filtration. I am not running zeo on my frag tank....yet What are your thoughts on this idea?
