  • How to intensify SPS colours???

    Hi guys,

i know zeovit will lighten up SPS colours. Is there any way that i could darken the colours? My colours of my SPS are really light.

    I dose start1 everyday
2 drops of AA each day
1 drop of iron and flouride 2 times each week

    Had changeout zeolites once.

    My tank specs are 35G

    Pls advice!

ZEOstart2 will darken the corals some. Also, you can dose double the amount of AA's.

        I am using T5 lights. 4 tubes: 2 X actinic, 2 X 20k.

        I am having a 2 feet tank.

The blue bulbs you are using are not very intense.

Your SPS may produce more pigments if you change your bulbs to for example something like Aquablue Plus bulbs with one or two daylight bulbs.

Yup for the 20k, i am using 2 aquablue +. So what u mean is that i use 2 aquablue + ,1 daylight and 1 actinic?

Is it advisable to replace my 2 of my actinic blue to 2 daylights, 7500 and 10k?

Yes that sounds like a good idea. Actinic bulbs really don't provide much light that is useful for photosynthesis, I wouldn't use them if you have limited space for lights.
