Greetings All !
Sweet design!
Are the main tanks purely for display ... or something else?
What about a fridge for the beer...?...
... the plumbing should be simple enough ...

It seems to me that chillers should always have more than one use ......
... the plumbing should be simple enough ...
What does the vertical layout look like?
No chiller on this badboy, I am praying with a bit over 500 gallons of water over a large surface I wont need any, I will have 3 x 400 on one tank, and 3 x 250 in the other tank.
What does vertical layout look like mean? It took me a while to figure out Visio, I am not sure what you mean vertical? Sorry if that is a dumb question, but I just know how to write code and repair computers, not run them lol.
I am taking a stab in the dark, but if you mean how tall are things, the room is 7 or 8 feet ceilings, in my basement that stays around 65/68 all year. The steel tank stands I had built are 30" tall. The sump will sit on the ground. The table is also going to be 6' x 2' x 30"ish. Is that what you mean?Last edited by scottw; 07-08-2005, 09:52 PM.

ran out of room.. I have a computer controlled unit that controls humidity/heat/de-humidifier, it will control the 3 fans, each moves 434 CFM's. I will set the humidity will be around 40% so its not sticky/stinky, have to keep the wife HAPPY, last time when I got in 10 boxes at a time, it smelled so bad she would not be very happy, plus my daughters room is above the fish room, so I want to make sure she doesnt have to smell it either. I was not running this computer controlled system last time, but I will be this time. I am also installing a 9000 BTU Air Conditionar that is mobile. It will exhust outside where the 3 fans push the air too.

Is that what you mean?
Sorry if that is a dumb question ......
.
I was asking about available "vertical" space because I was thinking about surge tank/system placement, and the possiblity of refugia and/or "specialty"/dedicated species-habitat tanks which might be located above the two main tanks.
