I just hooked up my calcium reactor if my a;lk is too low how do you adjust it to raise the ALK ?

u can add more co2 bubbles, or use bi-ionics part 2 i belive

What is your Ca at? Increasing the CO2 bubble rate will increase both alk and Ca. If you want to increase just the alk, you need to use an alk supplement like Seachem Reef Builder or B-Ionic Part 1.

you can stop Ca reactor for a while, and up the level what you want, and restart
Ca reactor again....

The most effective way to do this is get the parameters (Alk & Ca) where they need to be and then start using the reactor. The reactor is not made to increase the levels but rather maintain them. You are going to have a hell of a time unless you get them where they need to be first. Remember - If you increase the bubble count it will increase both Ca & Alk.

For increse the Alk, I use bicarbonate of sodium, this that use the woman in the kitchen, 1 or 2 tsp in a water glass and put in the aquarium or sump I think is Baking Soda of Arm&Hammer.


Also the Tech-CB part A and B are excellent for icrease the Alk and Ca, I use this too and is very fine 50 to 75 ml to day. If you only have problems with the alk use only the part A.
