It's all I use, I have 30 of them.

mine does well with ceriths , a whole bunch of them I would stay away from hermits they crawl allover my SPs

The banded trochus are excellant. They move very fast. Mine completely hide underneath the rock & overhangs during the day & do most of their work at night. They'll also sift through any small piles of detritus.
I'd also recommend regular trochus snails over astreas. They live longer & do a much better job. Black footed trochus are excellant.
I have 20 trochus snails & about 6 banded trochus in my 120g & everything is spotless.Comment
