What is needed to run the zeovit system?

Hi there everyone im new to this zeovit system well i want to know what is needed to run the system all the info that i could get my hands on will be greatly apreciated my current setup is a 30 gal tank with a 8 gal sump refugium soon to get my hands on a new aqua-c urchin pro skimmer since the other one that i had broke down about 2 weeks ago i have sps corals in my tank with only 2 softies in it and a crocea clam only 2 fish are in there a red lip blenny and a percula clown i do water changes twice a week since i dont have a skimmer right now to control the nutrients the tank has been running for about 8 months now everything is very stable(but i want it to be better) here are my parameters: calcium 410ppm,magnesium 1380ppm,alk 8.3dkh,nitrate <0.2ppm,phosphate 0.3ppm,temp 79-80f my tank is lit by a 250 watt 10k ushio mh bulb and a URI 30 watt ultra actinic bulb,i also have the phosban reactor.

Hi Conqui1pr, & welcome to ZEOvit.com. Plz. check out the stickies at the top of this forum for a thorough understanding of the ZEOvit method A skimmer is necessary for implementing the ZEOvit method, as much of the nutrient reduction revolves around it exportation of same, coupled with the zeolites filtration to render a balanced depletion in both N03's & P04's. For your system, I recommend the following, once your skimmer is in place:
1) dose 1/4 Cup carbon, in a filter sock, passively in your sump, kneaded every other day, changed out monthly.
2)dose 1/4 ltr. zeolites in a canister filter at a water flow rate through the filter of ~30gph. A little more or less is fine. These are exchanged every 6wks. Clean the stones by shaking or if you have a handle pump arrangement[typical zeo-filter], pump the stones up & down about 5-10 repetitions once or twice a day.
3)dose bak/food 1 drop daily x2wks, then 1 drop each 2x's/wk.
4)dose Start2 at 2 drops 2x's/day daily

Right now i have the phosban reactor for the zeolites i havent bought the system yet im waiting to get the skimmer first then go ahead with the zeovit system and thanks bob
