I dont use a Ca supp at all either with oceanic and use baking soda to supp alk. Its actually washing soda b/c I cook it for 90 min to burn off the Co2 so there is no pH drop. This way it raises my pH to keep it higher

Nick, "one part" is the measuring standard, ie. say for instance it is 1 TSP, then it's 7 TSP's of baking soda to 1 TSP washing soda. Probably there's a formuls on the additions?? but small additions should allow you to determine the quantity needed by trial & error Bob
