  • brown-out expectations

I bought this from a lfs. I know it's not the best picture, but it's the best I have at this time. What can I expect out of this coral? I know I'm only on week 1 of zeovit, but I'm wondering if anyone has any pictures of this coral after using zeovit.

Nero, this is a very interesting coral. I would not place it directly in the light. However nobody can tell you which color this coral will get in a nutrient low environment. It is not for sure it will become any other color than now, because not all corals are able to color up. Coloration is genetic defined, even a nutrient poor environment can not change this fact. If you know how the coral looked when it was collected you would be able to get back the original coloration, but for now this is only a quiz.

Ive noticed while on Zeo it takes my brownouts 1-2 months to regain color. This assuming all my params are completely stable

day 3- it's starting to show a little aqua color on the tips. Could this be a twin to Exotic Reef's true echinata?

nero, nice to see changes already, but your biggest problem now is to avoid overdosing, in the hope "more helps more"
