Fowlr - Zeovit

Hi All,

Well i have called it a day on the SPS front. The elec bill here in Australia was getting crazy to say the least. So i have sold all my SPS and all i have remaining is a LPS and a few frags.

My question is can i run ZEOVIT on a FOWLR. I would still love to keep my PO4 down along with NH4. I beleive i was in stage 2, maybe 3. PO4 level on the hanna was 0.02 PPM for a few weeks, but i had to add 0.3 ML of start 2 twice a day to a keep this level steady (125G). When i reduced the start 2 to 0.2 ML twice a day my PO4 increased to 0.03PPM.

Just wondering how i should dose the start 2 etc in a FOWLR tank, would i need to add more since i will be feeding more and have a heavier bio load?

Electricity is a killer!!! At least you will have your gilled friends to keep you busy.

ZEOvit can be used in a FO tank and i'm surprised it hasn't cuaght on more. Everything will work the same way, you might be adding more start since you will be feeding more.

I will keep an eye on my PO4 levels. If they go go to much i will start adding more Start 2 (may as well finish my old start 1 now, as i have limited SPS - no more thinning tips).

Why don't you do what I did and down size to a 200 litre tank with SPS ?
Is a FOWLR a fish only ?

Yep Fish only with living rock. I will chuck some xenia in there. I could not be bothered down sizing any further. The tank i have is nice, i will keep my Angels and a few softies and LPS.

I need all the cash i can get and forking it out on elec is not what i want to be doing.
