Increase start2 dosage?

Ok guys Im still battling macroalgae. Obviously due to lingering phosphates because I had not used start in over 4mo. due to negative impact of corals.

Water volume is about 55g
Current start2 dosage 0.2ml 2x a day
Zeofood7 1drop 2x a week
Bac 2 drops 2x a week
AAHC 2 drops every other day

Brown film will acculate on the glass every 4-5 days

Should I increase start2 to help drive down phosphates. Salifert shows 0 but you know how that goes:p

Sean I would recommend you to change your dosage as follows:

ZeoStart2 - 1 drop in the morning and one drop in the evening every day.
Zeofood7 - 1drop 2x a week
ZeoBac - 1 drops 2x a week
AAHC - 2 drops once a week.

This should help to prevent you from the brown film. I you do not notice any change after the new dosage I would also recommend to check your RO unit. Please keep us up to date how the dosage is working.

Vince something around 0,00.. Drop size like the ones coming from the pipette of the other supplemental.

I like to add the ZeoStart dosage I have recommended is for the second version.

ok I will taylor my dosage down Will the maco begin to die off eventually? I find myself pruning it to keep it away from my corals to much. I wish I never added a refugium before running zeo :shoot7:

I've been running Zeo since mid December. I too still have Macro algae issues, from the refugium. So I feel your pain bro.

Same here. I had high hopes that the Zeo would cure my algae issues. Hope so in time. Between the Algae and the Mex turbos, it's driving me nuts here also.
