Hi Ben, after the first two wks, with new zeolites on the first cycle, one doses bak/food 2x's/wk. for the last two wks.[1st cycle lasts 4wks.] Then after the zeolite exchange, the dosing changes a little. The cycle extends to 6wks, with bak/food being dosed every other day for the first two wks, then just 2x's/wk for the rest of that cycle. As time on ZEOvit goes on & nutrients are reduced gradually, the zeo-dosing becomes less. Plz. post-up for adjustment of your doses at the 4wk. period. Thnx. Ben I drop the aminios every other day, seems to work for meYou just have to keep an eye out for overdosing. slime build up on the glass or rocks. I think with aminos its some sort of flourescent build up

Hi Ben, as Sean mentioned, excess AAHC will cause a darkening slime or bright green flourescent["neon"] film on your rocks/sand & dark film on your panes or in heavy excess, a darkening of your corals. If these are not observed, your AAHC quantity is fine, as AAHC increases color, especially greens, & iliacs, & p-e of our corals. Again, these colors intensify best in phase 3. If visual cues of excess occurs, hold all zeo-dosing & post-up the problem.Bob

Hi Ben, the first cycle with ZEOvit is 4wks. in duration, then the stones are exchanged. Thereafter, the interval stretches to 6wks & this time-frame remains from then-on.
Start is dosed daily, ideally in smaller, multiple doses to continually provide nourishment for the specific bacteria within our system. Bob"There might be something to this ZEOvit"Comment
