  • tissue loss how long after a temp spike??

    Hey Guys how long after a tem spike should some tissue loss occur if any? I had a tempspike almost a week and a half ago and now have slight tissue loss on one of my corals, all other params are perfect

    Sal:1.025
    Ca :420
    Mg :1320
    alk :8.0
    ph :7.99-8.12
    temp :78.5-80.5

    temp swang from 78.5 to 84.5-85.0(my fans never came on)

        Is there anything I can do to help it heal? There is no loss at the bas just tissue thinning out on the branches

          Hi Sean, TN after parameters swings sometimes abate, but one can place it lower in the reef & make sure it gets plenty of current around the base, & that none of the base area is blocked from light pentration.Of course, correctly the problem area is a must. Bob
