When you say photoperiod, do you mean the overall photoperiod or just the MH duration?

Actually, my growth increased with two changes:
                  1) decreasing MH lighting duration from 10 to 8 hrs. Longer periods of intense lighting were causing photo-inhibition.
                  2) increasing fish-feedings from once every other day to 2x's/day. Bob

Bob... can you explain what that means?

Steve, besides some burned-tips on a couple of Acropora my corals appear stunned[polyps-expansion decreasing & corals losing their sheen after about 8hrs.]Kinda shut-down. I do have intense MH illumination of 3400W's, so my time frame will differ. Also, in zeo-tanks, the water clarity allows for a shorter lighting period.Bob

Hi Mike, my Salifert's P04's remain clear white. I'm going to obtain a Hanna colorimeter thru the group buy Scott's doing for better delineation of this nutrientBob

How long should I my lighting? I have a 75g SPS tank w/ Dual 400w MH's. At first I was thinking about running them for 6 hours, but don't now if I should run them longer or not.
