    Hey All,
Just like to say firstly that I think it's great that there is place were people can discuss the products that we use without being judged!
Anyhoo, would like some advice! Have been using Zeo now for 12 weeks and am more than happy with the results. Currently have only been dosing Bac and Food, in accordance with the Zeo Guide from RC.
My reason for trying zeo in the first place was I had a phosphate problem, and tried many different means of ridding the tank of this to no avail, but currently the phosphate levels are undetectable (salifert test), task accomplished? But have been extemely impressed with the results and would like any suugestions of what else I could be doing/using to improve things somemore.
If you guys need further info just let me know.
    Thanks in advance
    Fred, from down under!!!

Fred is there some particular thing / things you are not quite happy with yet? Or could still be improved?

What are they? The guys here will talk you through them. Would help if you give the amounts you are dosing and how much zeorock you have and at what flow.

    What corals do you have?

        DIY Here it is:

        8. What are your actual PO4 and NO3 levels
        Tested and get zero reading(salifert)
        9. What are your actual Ca, Alk and Mg levels
Ca is around 480 to 500, Alk 8, never tested for Mg
        10. What filtration method do you use (refugium, DSB, Miracle Mud, etc.)
Live rock, carbon, and good skimming
        11. Type of light (Watt, color temp, how old, etc.)

        20. What test kit do you use (how old, recently switched, etc.)
        Salifert
        21. Present dosing, amounts and intervals (ZEOvit, ZEObak, ZEOfood, ZEOstart, ZEOspur2, etc.)
Dose Bac and Food 1 drop of each per week, after change of zeolite 1 drop of each twice a week
        22. Other water parameters and water stability (salinity, temp, etc.)
        Salinity 1.023-1.024 Temp 27c constantly
        And here's the tank, not up to the standards of you guys;

I am very happy thus far was just concerned that maybe there was something else I could be doing, or something I should change. My growth has been unreal, and colours of any new colonies I add hold there colour well.
I have read that people are dosing AA etc, is this necessary?
        Thanks Fred

Thought it better to post here for some informative info, rather than criticism, if you know what I mean!

Hi Fred, I agree with Brendan, your set-up is impressive & really at this point, I don't believe I would change a thing. You asked about the supplements, & I certainly would try these for a time--AAHC & PIF for color & growth. Maybe even ZeoSpurs but I'd wait on these until you're comfortable with AAHC & PIF. Bob

Hey Fred, very nice looking tank, it looks great..

where abouts in .au are you ? I'm from Melbourne but moved here to California a few years ago...

Is kalkwasser the same down there as it is here ? (Pickling Lime) I thought that was not recommended with the zeo method, but I'm sure someone will correct me

                  post a few more pics..

                      Nice looking tank Fred!
I aggree with Bob's comments on not changing a thing. Remember though as time passes adjustments to the dosage will/may be needed. No doubt you take good care of the system and are aware of what's happening with your corals.

Proud owner of an Elegance Coral "that lived". (It is thriving whith long tentacle tips...purchased in January 2005.) It has white tentacle tips, I beleive this has something to do with ones that will typically live due to the collection site.
