  • Tissue grow back over tips?

Quick question, with tissue loss at the tips and some of the base will tissue regrow over the skeleton? Assuming the coral is healthy again.

Yes it will, provided you keep the algae from growing on those spots. And the coral gets healthy. I have had some tissue loss on a few. And they have recovered well. Not completely grown back, but I see new growth starting to cover those spots.

Brian, basal STN can reverse in some cases, IME. Those areas could also be light, &/or flow deficit. Tip regrowth, as Fonda said definitely, can regrow. Light-burn & parameters swings may be issues that need correction. Of course, Start1 excess can cause tip consequences which will not occur with the new Start2Bob
