Alexander ME question...

Alexander hello. On my bottle of ME it says 1ml per 25 gallons every 7 days.. In the revisied quide it says 5m per 25 gallons once weekly.. I talked to Bob about it and he said his bottle says 5ml/100l weekly also.. Has there been a concentration change or what dosage should we follow.

Jeff, 5 ml per 25 gallons is the correct dosage. No change in the product.

I would recommend you to start with 2,5 ml with the first dosage observing the changes.

Thanks Jeff, coloration especially the tips should become more intensive, if overdosed you will notice darker tissue.

My bottle also says 1 ml per 25 gal are you sure it's 5 ml per 25 gal. That is alot more of a dose.

Hi all, I currently dose 5ml/50g for the past 3 mos. with excellent visible tip results. I admit when I first used ME at higher concentrations[5ml/25g] the results were no different, but my nutrients at that time, were also higher than now[I hope] As it is with all the zeo-supplements, the lower the nutrients available, the greater the effect the zeo-supplements exert on our corals. Bob will you ever go back to 5 ml per 25gal. every seven days or is this to high and a waste. gqjeff I also noticed you were dosing 5ml per 50 gal oh but you are dosing half like alexander said. So I take it starting dosage is 5ml per 50. but for how long when should the dose be raised or should it.

rjf, good question regarding the optimim dosage of Spur-ME. Yes, at some point, I'll try the recommended doses again, as I was not in Phase 3 when I did dose 5ml/25g & higher. Remember, it replaces elements that are not contained in our salt-mixes but exist in NSW. It does enhance coral colors, especially intensifying yellows, iliacs & greens, & helps p-e even more than before. In excess, as with all the zeo-supplements, it will darken our corals. The starting & optimim dosage is 5ml/25g, so titration up or down a little is fine. Bob
