    Alright i am lost now?

    Hey guys well i have been trying to clean that carbon for a good 30 mintues now and it still wont come clean. i split it up into 2 filter stocks and then doubble bagged them so to speak.

    i risned it out good put it in RO water over nigh, still dirty today so i started risning it still dirty. i move it around in the mesh bag and dark black stuff somes off of it after 30 minutes of washing it?

    what shoudl i do any tips?

      I rinse it for about 5 minutes after soaking it. i've never had any problems.

          Madison- has it come clean? or do you still have some black run off? maybe i am grinding the particels together? i was rubbing it pretty hard.

          maybe i shouldnt do that? and just let water run through it?

              You must be grinding them together thats why they arent becoming clean
