I'm soon to set up my calcium reactor.
An idea I wanted to run past people is could it be set up with the effluent coming out right next to the skimmer intake? The idea being that if the high Co2 water went through the gas exchange happening in the skimmer, it may disperse a lot of Co2 before it even got into the tank.
Just wondered if there could be any negatives - two possibles I thought of were that it may impair skimming, and it may speed up calcification in the skimmer pump. But I'm not sure if those would actually happen or not.
Anybody got any thoughts on this?
