  • Zeo Amino Acid Question

I started dosing aminos 3 days ago and am just curious how long it took everyone to see a difference in their systems once they started dosing the aminos. Also can you explain the differences that you saw whether it be color or growth related. Thank You.

Brad, for me personally it was about 2 weeks in.. I noticed better growth then I was already having and also even better polyp extension. I didn't really think the polyp extension could get any better but it did... Can't say much for color as all the corals have been colering up for the most part from the basic 4.

Welcome aboard, Brad AAHC, does contain some interesting elements/AA's. Stay within the guide's dosing recommendations for the best results in coral health & growth. As jeff mentioned p-e is increased & as the nutrients are retired, color with become bright Bob

Good to know guys, I will wait for that 2 week mark and then hopefully see some good results from the AAHC's. Everything else is going smooth and all my corals look awsome.

I only turn off the skimmer for an hour when dosing Bac/Food.

Its advisable for max effectiveness of the additives, I think. The last thing we wanna do is to have the bac/food being skimmed out before it can do its magic..

Yup, an hour is about the right time to stop the skimmer. Gives us the prefect oppurtunity to clean the collection cup and neck too!
