Ok guys it about 2wks from my second zeolith change out, and now I have some slime(prob diatoms) on the back and I think its because of OD of start. Now my dosage for start is 0.1 ml 2x's a day (50g total water volume) I need some advise on how to Adjust my dosing (Bob???)
    Sean

Tank Specs:60g Cube SPS/Clam tank, ASM G1x Skimmer, DIY ZEOvit Reactor, 1x400w EVC 14k, Marine Life Aquatics CR-250 CaRx (RIP)

Is it slime or diatoms? Diatoms are caused by excess silicates.. which comes from your water or salt brand. Change out your RO/DI cartridges if so.

Sean, if you are developing slime on the panes, hold ALL zeo's for 3 days, then begin bak/food7 only again at the previous dosage for 1wk. If the slime does not reappear, then reinstitute Start every other day at .1ml 2x's/day. If it does reappear , just dose Start 2x's/wk, .1ml 2x's/day/2x's/wk & reduce bak/food7 by 50% quantities. Bob

And a pinch of Fe--use PIF:Fe at 2:1 or 3:1 dosing quantities Bob
