  • Pomping Stones Clean

    Hello everyone,
I'm getting a bit confused answers to what happens to the "dirt" from the zeo stones. Someone suggest swiching skimmer for some time as it's a food for corals. To me it looks as detruis which should be skimmed of asap.
    What is it then?
    Thank you.

I think both answers are correct. It might be a form of "detritus" . Detritus is only bad if it's left to accumulate. some believe (myself included) that corals might feed on detritus when you stir it up in your aquariums. Not only can corals consume this, but then it's in the water column where you skimmer can remove the excess.
