  • SPS Touching?

You guys going to hate me for asking this dumb question, but I've only started keeping any quantity of sps the last few months, so you'll have to bear with me, a lot of stuff I still don't know.
Ive got a tank with many sps types, montipora, acropora, pocillopora, and others. Trying to keep them all seperated, but just wondering if it is OK if they touch? Or if not, is there some that can touch but not others?

montipora cap. seems to grow around montipora elkhorn coral

but acropora's cant touch...one will die ime.
Proud owner of an Elegance Coral "that lived". (It is thriving whith long tentacle tips...purchased in January 2005.) It has white tentacle tips, I beleive this has something to do with ones that will typically live due to the collection site.

I've never had a problem with monti's touching each other or even acros.

But acros vs monti, is a sure war.

I've seen a lot of tanks where the coral just grew around each other.
