Edward, that's interesting & different--don't know that I've ever seen anything quite like that. Where is this tank from? Maybe, you could find out more from the owner? Bob

I haven't seen this in a cap but I am seeing something like this with 2 digi's. I have an orange digi that has really taken off lately and all the new growth seems to be headed towards the BB.. I'll try to get a pic.

do you know if this tank is BB ?

Its SSB . Where you thinking BB because of the reflection from the bottom?

          It could be the flow.

I had a Montipora florida that did that. It grew down for an inch or so and then plated back out. Very weird but this coral was a very fast grower.

I am out there, and loving every minute of it!

Out of the closet, that is. The Zeo closet.

it probably is more flow than reflection of the bottom.. here is my digi, not a very good pic but you can see at the top one branch is turning down and at the bottom there is a branch that has made a complete U turn since being moved to the BB tank..

yeah, that was my first thought, but I also cranked the flow up to 53x from about 30x and where this guy is turning there is no reflection from the bottom so it mush be flow (and the Zeo of course )

LOL Ger, ZeoAgra - a must for growing rock hard stags

                        haha good one gary.. lmao

They have a piece and Inland Aquatics here in Terre Haute that grows like that, I am sure it has nothing to do with the fact they use bulbs 4 years old. And I am not joking, and they are no more then 5500k to begin with kills me I sell them COLORFUL corals then they just brown them out, I hate taking corals in to Morgan.
