Question on zeo potassium floride and zeo iron concentrate

The next products I buy from zeo are going to be Macri elements, zeo potassium floride and zeo iron concentrate.

For those of you who have tried the potassium floride and iron concentrate do you notice significant differences in coral color?

I know the potassium floride only affects blue colors, did you notice your blues on your corals increase?

With the iron concentrate did you notice all coral colors increase or just greens, and how much?

Hey Brad. When I started to use PIF I noticed that the blue tips on my A. tenius were just sreaming. It took about 3 weeks dosing 2x/wk though. Also my A. tortuosa went from a blueish stalk to blue stalk after continued dosing, and the end of the tips are light blue. I am not sure if I am getting any results from IC. I actually decided last week to not dose it and see what changes take effect if any. HTH

Hi Brad, in my experience PIF will color corals, mostly noticeable at the coral tips--mainly blue & a slight green coloration, wheras Fe promotes green & a slightly blue effect. These are more readily noticed on yellow Acroporas. If your yellow coral develops a slighty green sheen, this indicates too much PIF or Fe.has been dosed & dosing reduction is necessary. Follow the ZEOvit guidelines on the dosing quantities. The color improvements with the supplements depends on one's nutrient levels & zoox. density. These will have little effect early on with ZEOvit when nutrients are more abundant, or the zoox. population is heavy. Brad, I also dose AAHC, Spur-ME & Spur2, & the coloration is better for a few days after dosing these[3-5 days]. Bob

So for PIF and Fe I should follow the zeovit guideline of dosing daily unless I notice some over dosing signals. If I notice these signals should I switch to dosing somewhere around 3 times a week?

i dose it 2x a week now i used to dose it daily wit aa but i t was overdosing so i am at 2x a week now and i noticed diffrences from it

Brad, starting out at 3x's/wk is a good idea. Dose Fe ~ 1/3 quantity as PIF, as OD can spurt algae growth. Also remember all elements dosed excessively will darken our corals. Bob

Hey Bob should i use mine 3x a week also should i stick to 2x a week of aa and flour ? i am stoping for a week before i use it again to help get rid of the excess

Nick, I would not dose PIF more than 2x's/wk as it does accumulate. Same for Fe. AAHC, however, can be dosed daily if excess signs of overdose are wanting. Bob
