    Anyway, you should always stir when the pump is on. This will help drive out the mulm/accumulation into the water column/corals/skimmer

    if u shake it while its off your not really doing anything when its on the water that is rushing up its pusking everything out

    but do you shake the reactor easily when the pump is on?
    I think it is not easy to shake durng on-time cause the water disturbs to shake..

    The "shake" means I pull and push the rod about 10times during water is full in reactor...

    #1 will work but I don't think you need to turn off your skimmer when stirring the zeovit media. There is enough mulm to go around and the corals are well adapted to obtaining prey (mulm) very quickly.

    1. you turn off the timer (during 3on time), and after water out then shake...
    2. when the pump is off (during 3off time), then shake.

    which number is correct?

    I have seen the thread that when shaking media, the mulm are out, and it can be source of
    bacteria or coral (I am not sure), so I think no1 is better than no2.....

    Am I correct?

    I have maintained no1...
