    No reactor, dosing B-Ionic

    4. Are you using a PO4 reactor (how long, how long ago, etc.)
    No

    5. Are you using Ozone
    No

    6. Are you using UV
    No

    7. What skimmer are you using (type, rated water volume)

    8. What are your actual PO4 and NO3 levels
    Unknown

    9. What are your actual Ca, Alk and Mg levels
    Ca/400 Alk/Unknown Mg/Unknown

    10. What filtration method do you use (refugium, DSB, Miracle Mud, etc.)
    Refugium & DSB

    11. Type of light (Watt, color temp, how old, etc.)

Hi Todd, yes, I'm still amazed with my SPS color & growth with ZEOvit. This method results in crystal clear, pristine waters to bathe your corals. Todd, print out the ZEOvit guidelines & read this several X's for a thorough understanding of the method. This will reap rewards many times over Be sure to obtain test kits for Ca/Mg/KH as these parameters should mirror NSW & remain stable. Ca>400/Mg>1200/KH-7-8/salinity-1.023-5. For your system, I recommend dosing the following: 1)1/2 Cup carbon, passively in sump, keading this every other day, to be exchanged every 4wks.2)dose 1/2ltr. zeolites in a zeo-filter with a flow rate of 50gph. A little more or less is fine. Punp clean these stones 2-3 x's/day. Change out at 4wks. initially, thereafter, the zeolites are exchanged every 6wks. 3) dose bak/food 2 drops ea. daily for the 1st 2wks, then 2x's/wk. Dose these near your zeo-filter intake. Turn-off the skimmer for 60min. after dosing these. 4) dose Start .25ml 2x's/day daily. It is not necessary to turn-off your skimmer when just dosing Start. Ask questions along the way Bob

P.S. is a Rio 800 way to much power?

Hi Todd, you only need~50gph flow through the filter. This is very important, as too much flow will result in too rapid a nutrient reduction & a acclearated depletion of the zeolite's function, both of which are detriemental to our corals. One will need to ball-valve the Rio-800 to govern the flow rate precisely. Bob

One thing todd is get an Mg test, my results of non ideal amounts of mg have resulted in tissue loss of my corals, just my 2 cents

Todd, sure, that will be fine for a day or two. Eheim, Marineland & possibly Rio sell a small valve for flow regulation. These can be used with tubing interconnecting the pump out spout-->ballvalve-->tubing to zeo-filter intake. Bob

dont forget the 3 on 3 off method also which means 3 hours on 3 hours off a simple timer does this for ya also the zeovit has to be submerged at all times so u need a clapper valve on it

also remember that the rocks have to be submerged all the time the reactor drains when its off so u need a clapper valve
