Do I need to use the Stylo-Pocci Glow To bring out the color in my birds nest. It seems like this is the only coral I have that has not been getting really intense colors. Will it color up in time without the Stylo-Pocci Glow?

Hi tim, PSG brightens these corals similar to the way Spur2 does Acropora, Monti's. While lowering nutrients with ZEOvit method is best for coral colors, PSG does help. Some Seriatopora color are a varying shade of pink/reds, so I certainly would try it for several days as recommended in the guide, although, not all will be fire-engine red. Bob

Tim, I just used the PSG and followed Bobs dosing recomendations.. Honeslty I do not see much if any difference in my stylos or seriatoporas. I think Bob also said he did not see much results from this product either.. I finished my weekly dosing friday also and not much change.. Now with spur2 I DEF notice a difference when I dose that... Not in the stylo or seriatopora but my other acros... They get really pastel colored.. Actually I like the color on a few of my acros better before spur2.. Overall though I like to results from spur2 on the other sps so I will still use it... Growth is crazy after spur2... Oh yea as far as the PSG, I have decent color already in these corals but I wanted to see if they coul dget even better... Good luck...

Jeff, I have identifiable results after dosing PS glow with 3 drops per 25 gal. on a daily basis for about one week., but the effect is not comparable to the effect of ZeoSpur2 in Acropora and Montipora.

Alexander, I dosed 20 drops per day for 7 days. I will stop for 3 weeks and then repeat dosing... 200 net gallons...

Jeff, I would recommend 25 drops daily for 1,5 – 2 weeks in your 200 gal system. This is very similar to the quantity you have already dosed.

In my tank, S. hystrix is not affected to much. First change in zoox reduction is identifiable in P. damicornis.

I have stopped since friday that was a week.. Do you think I should start again and do it for another week then stop and hold off for 3 weeks?

Jeff, I would recommend you to go on with 25 drops daily fort the next 1,5 – 2 weeks. If you do not notice lighter tissue IMO a longer dosage will not have any advantage.

Posting a short report would be great, Thanks

Jeff, the period starting dosing again depends to the nutrient load in the tank. I would recommend you to start again if you notice the corals become darker. This takes about 2 – 3 weeks in my tank.

Nick, the S. hystrix is also affected, but it is not the first coral which responds to the dosage.

All in all we can not compare the impact with ZeoSpur2. PS Glow works much slower.
