Here's my tri color frag before zeo (nice and brown)


After 4 weeks of zeo (starting to get purple tips)


now after start overdose (almost but still hanging in there)
the tips are starting to turn purple again.

Those pictures are disturbingly familiar ... the Pavona maldivensis frags still cringe whenever I open up the ZeoStart bottle ... and I'm sure they're plotting their revenge ...

I'm glad i'm not alone on that on Gary. I am even using the new zeostart and they still don't look great. They are starting to look better. Anyone have any of these in a zeovit system?

James, when the corals look like that frag, you have already overshot the zeo's. Your dosages will need to be adjusted downward Bob

Didn't seem to bother the other corals though, best as I can see. Are these corals particularly susceptable?

Yes, I know Bob. I stopped all zeo for 2 weeks. I just started dosing this Sunday. 0.3 mil x 2 start every other day. 4 drops of bac, food, and amino every other day. For my 150gal. tank. I already lost 4 of my sps colonies due to overdose. I can't believe this frag made it. I've learned my lesson the hard way on zeostart.

Are you referring to the Pavona M. If so, I have a large frag of it in my tank. And so far it looks great? But looked great before.
