Since they function differently, one can use both or one can use either one or the other. I use the Spur-ME 25ml once a wk. for tip color enhancement. As my corals are already colorful, I have not been dosing Spur2 recentlyBob

Since we know that zeospur2 reduce zooxanthellae densite, could you tell me the role of zeospur?

Hi Axel, are you asking about ZeoSpur-Macro-elements[ME]? If so, it supplies elements that exist in natural seawater but are not commonly in our saltmix. It is helpful in defining coral colors especially tip-colors in Acropora. It is dosed once a week per the guide. Did I answer your question to your satisfaction? Bob
