Resinas antifosfatos

Tengo el sistema de Zeovit, desde hace 2 meses, el problema es que tengo el sustrato con zonas amarronadas y no se terminan de ir, quisiera saber si es posible utilizar junto con la zeolita, algun tipo de resina antifosfato.

What are your levels of N03's & P04's? What is your net system volume & your current dosages of zeolites/ carbon/ Bak/ Food7 & Start2? Are you using a zeo-reactor for the zeolites?

Con el metodo Zeovitlos removedores de fosfatos no se utilizan para reducir nutrientes, porque se crearia un inbalance que resultaria en corales estresados o algo peor aun. Cuales son tus niveles de nitratos y fosfato? Cual es el volumen neto de agua de tu acuario y cuales son tus dosis actuales de Zeolitas/carbon/Bak/food7/start2? Utilizas un reactor de zeolitas con las zeolitas?

El problema radica en un madito tono marron que tengo en el sustrato que no consigo que se vaya, y que afea muchisimo mi acuario.

Thnx. Ipum, for your information& your dosages of the components are fine, although I'll suggest a little change with these to reduce the P04's which are causing your problem. I agree the P04's are too high but this nutrient can be reduced with the following steps:

1)Please recheck the zeo-reactor flow rate. It should be ~ 300 l/h. Are you cycling the zeo-reactor on & off at 3 hr. intervals? If not, please do so for this cycling stimulates anaerobic bacteria growth within the reactor, reducing nutrients much more effectively. Be careful that the stones remain submerged below the waterline when the reactor pump is "off". You may need a check-valve place between the reactor & it's pump to prevent back-siphoning when the reactor pump is "off".
2)For the next 2-3 months, exchange the zeolites every 4 weeks, instead of 6 weeks. This will keep the zeolites from exhausting toward the end of the 5th & 6th week. This will help reduce nutrients better & improve coral color.
3)Clean the zeolites 3 x's/day about 5-10 repetitions each time when the reactor pump is "on". The increased cleaning results in more effective bacterial colonization of the stones & therefore, less nutrients in our system while the increase in mulm feeds are corals.
4)increase Bak to 3 drops 3 times per week; continue Food7 at 2 drops 3 times per week. Turn off your skimmer for 60min after dosing these.
5)increase Start2 to 0.3ml daily--split this quantity into 2 equal doses of 0.15ml[0.15ml 2 times per day] It is not necessary to turn off the skimmer when just dosing Start2
6)continue aminoacids & Spur2 the same quantities.
7)optional but recommended:dose 6 drops Coral-Vitalizer daily in your display. ZeoBak & Coral-Vitalizer are refrigerated & each has a shelf-life ~ 6 months.

Gracias Ipum por la informacion, tus dosis de los zeo componentes estan bien, Aunque yo sugeriria un pequeño cambio en estas para reducir los fosfatos que estan causando tu problema. Estoy de acuerdo que tus fosfatos estan demaciado altos pero este nutriente puede ser reducido con los siguientes pasos:

1) Por favor vuelve a checar el flujo en tu zeo reactor, debe ser de aprox. 300 litros por hora, estas prendiendo y apagando tu reactor en periodos de 3 hrs si y 3 hrs no? si no es asi por favor haslo porque este ciclado estimula el crecimiento de bacterias anaerobicas dentro de el reactor, reduciendose los nutrientes mucho mas efectivamente. ten cuidado que las piedras permanescan sumergidas por debajo de el nivel de el agua cuando la bomba de el reactor este apagada. Podrias necesitar colocar una valvula check entre el reactor y su bomba para prevenir un sifon inverso cuando la bomba este apagada.

2) Por los siguientes dos o tres meses cambia las zeolitas cada 4 semanas, en lugar de cada 6 sem, esto evitara que las zeolitas se agoten al final de la quinta y sexta semana. Esto ayudara a reducir los nutrientes mejor y mejorara el color de los corales.

3)limpia las zeolitas tres veces al dia, con 5 a 10 repeticiones cada ves, cuando la bomba de el reactor este encendida. El incremento en el limpiado resultara en una mas efectiva colonizacion bacteriana de las piedras y por lo tanto menos nutrientes en nuestro sistema mientras aumentamos la alimentacion con el mulm a nuestros corales.

4) Incrementa el Bak a 3 gotas 3 veces por semana, continua food7 a dos gotas 3 veces por semana. Apaga tu skimmer por 60 min despues de dosificarlas.

5) Incrementa start2 a 0.3 mls diarios -- divide esta cantidad en dos dosis iguales de 0.15 mls ( 0.15 mls dos veces por dia) no es necesario apagar el skimmer cuando solo adites Start2.

6) Continua con los aminoacidos y el Spur2 en las mismas cantidades.

7) Opcional pero recomendado: Dosifica 6 gotas de Coral-Vitalizer diario en tu tanque principal. Zeo Bak y Coral-Vitalaizer deben refrigerarse y tienen una vida en el frasco de aproximadamente 6 meses.

Ya he cambiado las dosis tal y como me habeis recomendado.

El flujo del reactor esta a 300 l/h y ademas funciona 3 horas si, 3 horas no.

La zeolita siempre esta sumergida porque esta en el sump y el nivel esta siempre por encima de la zeolita.

Lo que nunca he hecho es apagar el skimmer despues de aditar el Bak y el Food7, y creo que esto es muy importante ¿Verdad?

La proxima compra Coral Vitalizer jeje
