spreche ich nicht Deutsches. ich möchte sehen, was das Reefkeeping wie in Deutschland ist? was sind die gegenwärtigen Tendenzen? was Ausrüstung ist populär?

hopefully, i was able get my point across...for the english speakers, this is what i am trying to say:

i want to see what reefkeeping is like in germany. what are the current trends? what equipment is popular?

not that much diffrent in germany actually, there is DSB, BB, and Zeovit, a few without skimmer most use skimmer, pretty much the same, i couldn't pinpoint whats different,
oh actually yes, one thing comes to mind, i think german reefer use less light, and US reefer use more light and more blue, like 14k, and most germans like 10k, thats all i can think of right now,

indeed, i have noticed many german reefers prefer 250w HQI, but US reefers like 400w.... what about flow? do german reefers prefer tunze or closed loops?

i would say tunze is more used, i dont even know anybody that has set up a closed loop, but that doesn't mean nobody has one tho
power is pretty expensive in germany, thats why every reefkeeper first look at the power needs, tunze is way better as a closed loop in power consumption,

i see, that must be why i dont see much beckett users in germany...

what calcium reactors are popular? a lot of the european setups i see use deltec? i have seen a few with jetstreams though...

schuran, deltec, i would say, at one time Klaus was talking about making CA Reactors, not sure if he finds time to make them tho,

btw, keep posting in german, so other german reefer can jump in, i was just responding in english to help you out with my bad english at that

sorry, that not right, the verb comes before the object:

"welcher Kalkreaktor ist populär?!"

kann nur für österreich (Austria) sprechen, es gibt eigentlich keine favoriten, viele bauen sich auch einen kalkreator selbst!

transaltion: I can say something only for Austria, I think there is no favorite kalkreaktor, many guys build his own kalkreator, because its much cheaper than to buy one.

bei den abschäumern würde ich sagen: ATI Twister hat ein sehr gutes Preis - Leistungsverhältnis, Bubble King ist sicherlich spitze, aber sehr teuer!

dein deutsch ist verständlich!

ATI Twister ist ein abschäumer von der Firma ATI, die in deutschland die T5 Röhren (tubes) und beleuchtung revolutioniert hat.

der Abschäumer kostet ca. 300€ und ist für becken von 300 - 1500l geeignet.
viele kunden sind damit sehr zufrieden.

deltec eigentlich gar nicht, eher noch Gro Tech bzw. H & S

viele US reefer glauben das alle reefer in europa deltec benutzen, wundern sich dann wenn es nicht so ist
mir wurde gesagt der twister haette probleme mit der pumpe ? kannst du dazu was sagen ?

yea heinz, i am suprised that germans dont use deltec skimmers? i have seen quite a few german setups with deltec?
