  • What a skimmer!

All I can say is this thing is huge... absolutely beautiful. BKS is so damn happy I think he'll wet himself. Not a single picture I've seen had me prepared for what I saw when Gary and I unpacked the 300. Got it set in the sump and then went out for a couple of beers before Gary had to get to the airport to catch the flight back home. You can bet I'll be posting the pics of my baby tomorrow. It's on my system at my office so I miss it already. Can't wait to get to work Wed.

Thanks Gary, both for the skimmer and the conversation.

So Gary, do you personally deliver every BK that you sell? Bob

I first need to get an order for fresh rubbers put together and sent in this AM.

I have a small amount of skimmate that made it into the collection cup overnight. Gary and I set everything wide open for start up.

                        Pics a little later!

First couple of pics to try and show the OD. This thing is huge!
                            200 gallon salt bucket

                            ASM G3 collection cup

Salt lid next to BK 300 collection cup lid.

ZEOfood bottle on collection cup lid

Top down with the collection cup lid off (more like collection bucket lid)

                              Klaus.... THANK YOU!
                              This skimmer is beautiful!
I have never seen such workmanship on a piece of "hobby" equipment. As Gary and I put the skimmer together I looked at each part such as the slide pipes and Red Dragon input adjustment nozzle/screw and I am amazed at what you have made from some pieces of plastic!
For me it seems it will be easy to get the skimmer adjusted to skim how I like to skim... somewhat wet. I don't mind cleaning the cup at least every two days.
