It's about two weeks, since I received this skimmer.
I have one problem with it. The foam is lifting cover of the collection cup.
Water outlet pipe is about 3/4 closed, and if I set it to 1/2 it doesn't skimm.

Have you tried to clean the skimmer with hot water to remove any fatty residua from the production ?

If it is a external skimmer, what is the actual water quantity you pump through ?

I would also recommend to check if there are any particles at the needle wheel.

      It's internal skimmer.
I clean the entire collection cup every 1-2 days.
O.K., I'll check the needle wheel.

Make sure that the holes in the top of the collection cup is clear in order to let the extra air escape. Put a small amount of vegtable oil on the holes to help prevent them from clogging.

The holes should not need to be enlarged. Adjust the skimmer to skim a little wetter, that will help some.

Another thing is that the foam is "leaking" through thise holes, but the collection cup is less then 1/4 filled.
If I put hand over the collection cup I can feel the preasure from air passing the holes.

We should all have this problem. I have to agree with Alexander, probably some deposits left from the manufacturing process. How long was the tank without a skimmer? or how was the previous skimmer performing? There may be an abundance of fatty/proteineous compounds in the tank water. Try running it wetter as previously mentioned and stay on top of cleaning. The excess foaming should dissapate after a few days.

I replaced previous skimmer (Schuran Jetskim100) after upgrading tank from 60 to 95G.
As I mentioned before, I have this skimmer about 2 weeks now.
I'll try to run it little wetter.
                    Thanks.

Open the outlet pipe so that the foam drops for a few days, then you can close them a bit,

I tried different positions of water level in skimmer and amount of air skimmer "sucks" and the foam stayed in collection cup and not all over it (I hope it will be the same tomorrow ).

                          Hello

It is still the same. This skimmer wont work.
If I clean the entire collection cup, then it is OK for a while. Then it starts "foaming" into and above collection cup.
I even tried to lift the collection cup on one side for about 1cm, and it is still the same.

You might need to clean the collection cup[neck] daily, dial-down the air-intake nozzle at that time. Use R/O water aspirate daily to keep the air-intake tube[s] clear of build-up. This will enable you to dial-in the correct air-intake, & water level. Bob
